A reflection from Oct 3rd.

Being a follower of Christ means that we show mercy and compassion to those around us. But it also means that we stand up for the things that we believe in. Even if what we believe in is not always popular with the general public. The moment we water down our faith. Is the moment we turn our backs to Christ. The moment we compromise our faith in the public sector. Is the moment that we have turned our hearts away from God in our private lives. We must keep this in prayer always. That those who claim to follow Christ. Would stand up for what they believe in. But doing so in away that shows mercy and compassion.
